Enhance support services for victims, implement trauma-informed approaches in legal proceedings, and offer comprehensive mental health support for families facing these challenges.

Long-term Systemic Change: Implement legislative reforms targeting parental alienation, including early intervention and support for affected families. Establish guidelines for family court experts, teachers, and legal professionals to recognise and address parental alienation and coercive control behaviours. Integrate education into legal training for lawyers and judges, and strengthen laws and resources to combat this covert and insidious type of domestic and psychological abuse.
